Outstanding Lacrosse Coaches!

Selected for their fine reputations and their ability to work with young players, our coaches teach at all levels of play. We provide a balance of experienced, senior staff members and enthusiastic college grads. Their credentials are outstanding: All-Americans, Hall of Famers, Coaches of the Year, All World players, and professional box players!

Beyond the Game: Sportsmanship & Citizenship

Lessons beyond lacrosse: Our Camp is committed to teaching lessons beyond the game of lacrosse. Tolerance and respect for others is emphasized during camp. In keeping with the heritage of lacrosse as played by many Native American nations, we want campers to honor the game, their teammates, and their opponents.

Inspirational Speakers: Featured speakers at Cardigan have included Hall of Fame swimmer and renowned TV sports journalist Diana Nyad; the irrepressible dancer and drummer, Sidiki Conde; former Boston U. hockey player, Travis Roy; and former Navy SEAL and Ironman champion Carlos Moleda. In 2011 and 2012, charismatic Chuck Nguyen used lessons learned as a Vietnamese boat refugee, in martial arts training and from his Buddhist grand-father, to convey how we can effectively confront bullying, exclusion, and discrimination. One of these remarkable people will speak at the 2013 camp.

Improve your lacrosse game and have fun!

Round robin tournaments! Coaches assign players to a team in one of three divisions, based on age, size and level of skill. Each division plays with the emphasis on instruction and individual attention. At the end of camp, all players receive a written personal evaluation.
