CARDIGAN MOUNTAIN
A beautiful, well-groomed camp
This is truly a beautiful place - the campus is located on a pristine New Hampshire lake. Plenty of well-groomed playing fields, a modern gym for weight training and locker room.
Cardigan's spacious field house is perfect for practices in foul weather. The modern auditorium with gigantic
screen is great for lacrosse films, evening coaches' clinics, special talks.

Well-balanced meals & comfortable dorms
Meals are all-you-can-eat, with salad bar, served cafeteria-style.
Each session includes the popular All-American Cookout, too, with all
the trimmings! Campers are housed in clean, comfortable, attractive
dorms with 2-4 persons per room.
Swimming in our lake
The crystal clear lake provides welcome relief after each session. Jumping in feels great, especially on hot days. Supervision provided during these periods.
Strength Conditioning Coach
All college teams and most high school programs now recognize the importance of strength conditioning for best lacrosse performance. Cardigan's own strength coach will give individual guidance in this critical area. The fully-equipped weight-training room will be open following all field sessions and supervised work is available.
Bob Hoppey Sportsmanship Awards
Players who have demonstrated the qualities of sportsmanship and citizenship that Cardigan wishes to encourage, will receive sportsmanship awards named in honor of legendary and long-time staff member Bob Hoppey. Our awards are presented at the closing ceremony. Various skills competitions including fastest shot contest will be conducted.
Lacrosse Equipment
The top sticks and equipment will be available in the camp store.
US Lacrosse membership
Cardigan campers will have the opportunity to join US Lacrosse in one of the "player" categories. This will entitle them to receive full membership benefits, including insurance coverage for a full year.
In the Heart of New England
The Cardigan Mountain Lacrosse Camp is located at the Cardigan Mountain School in Canaan, New Hampshire, just 30 miles from Hanover, Dartmouth College, and Interstates 89 and 91. Families and players can combine a vacation with a top lacrosse camp experience. Many parents drop their campers off and then vacation in New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, Canada or the Maritime Provinces, picking up their lacrosse player on the return.
